After playing College football for the Georgia tech, Anoa's started football career with brief off-season stin with the Minnesota Vikings and Jacksovile Jaguars of the National football leag. (NFL) in 2007. He then played the full  season Canadia Football league 2008 before his retirement for the footbal  He than pursued a career in wresling and  was  singed by WWE in 2010, the  reporting to their developmental the territory Florid Championship (FcW) As  roman  reigns, he made his roster debut in November 2012 alongside of Dean  Ambrose  and  Seth  Rollins  as The Shield. The trio teamed together until 2014, after which reigns entered singles held the WWE Championship three times and the WWE Universe of Championship twice. He is also a one time WWE Intercontinental winner,a one time  WWE  Tag  team champion, the 2015  Royal  rumble Winner, and the 2014 Superstar of the year.He tied the WWE record for most elimination in a Royal  Rumble  match  with 12 in the 2014 event.

From 2014 onward, WWE had attemp to establish Reigns as their next "face of the company", which was met with intense disapproval by audience and critics. However, in mid-2020, Reigns was repackaged as a new villainous,  "The tribal cheif" which has generaly been met with acclaim by critics.
